As we face the chaos and uncertainty of our social                                                                                                      and economic climate in the United States, many                                                                                                        are planning to move abroad. Well before deciding on a location, purchasing your ticket and finalizing your plans, allow me to share a bit about my experience of living abroad as a woman of color. If you have your sites set on Portugal, Philippines, or Indonesia, just a few cautions. There is quite a bit of information that is withheld.

 

Hopefully my private travel journal, will give you a glimpse into what it was like to travel across three continents, ten countries and a host of cities, all by myself. And if you are a woman of color, traveling abroad, and alone, it would be great to see if I've been to some of the places you're planning to go. Get ready, we are about to embark upon this journey together. I am glad to share my stories and experiences.
